About Chentik
Chentik is a digital mistake notebook for students in grades 5 to 8 in Türkiye. A student photographs a question they got wrong. AI identifies the subject and topic, and the question comes back on days 1, 3, 7 and 21. In grade 8, the review days also bring a new question on the same topic from our question bank, written for the national high school entrance exam (LGS).
Where it runs
Chentik is live on the App Store and Google Play. A parent opens the account and links the child's device with a one-time code. There are no ads and no messaging between users.
AI and children's data
Photos of students' questions are classified by a model hosted in Türkiye and never leave the country. The AI does not solve questions or give answers. We build the product and our question bank with Claude, but student data is never sent to Claude.
Company
Chentik is a sole proprietorship of Seyit Yılmaz, based in Istanbul and registered in Türkiye in August 2026. Chentik is a registered trademark at the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT, no. 2026/068187).
Founder
Dr. Seyit Yılmaz is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and the founder of Chentik. He built the first version for his own child. When other families asked for it, he saw a gap in the market and turned it into a product. Website · LinkedIn
